Here’s the short version until I can do a proper write up.

The Michigan Honey Festival in Imlay City is a 4 year running event that brings out local beekeepers, honey fans and Mead enthusiasts to try honeys, see the newest technology in bee-keeping, meet new friends and (my personal favorite) drink Mead!

We submitted three Meads to the Michigan Honey Festival’s Mead Cup. Superior Lakes White Mead earned a Silver while our Barrel Aged won a Bronze in the Commercial; Made in Michigan; Traditional Style Category! Pear Pyment pulls a Silver in the Commercial; Fruit Mead Category!
